Hello! My name is John Masulonis

Hi, I’m John Masulonis — a Senior Digital / Visual Designer based in the Raleigh-Durham area.

I design web and UI-driven experiences with a strong foundation in visual design, working across platform-based systems, enterprise environments, and marketing-focused digital work. My experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams at companies like IBM, Cisco, and SIDEARM Sports, where I’ve contributed to scalable web experiences, design systems, and content-driven platforms.

My work focuses on balancing structure and flexibility—applying consistent UI patterns while adapting to different brands, content needs, and user expectations. I’m most comfortable working in environments where design, UX, and development intersect, and where clarity and usability matter as much as visual execution.

Earlier in my career, I worked across branding, marketing, and campaign design for a range of clients and industries, building a strong visual foundation that continues to inform my work today.

Outside of design, I’ve been part of the Raleigh design community through AIGA and enjoy staying active with fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
